At Metropolitan Montessori Schools, we believe that everyone in the MMS family – children, families and staff – has something critical to offer the children and families we serve. This attitude reflects acceptance and tolerance and is taught to every teacher and every student.
We do not discriminate in enrollment on the basis of differing ability or special needs. It is, however, important to us that we provide the least restrictive environment for children, and we routinely work with parents and other early childhood professionals to determine we are the right fit for a child. We support the inclusion of IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) and / or Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) as outlined in the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDA).
All children from six weeks through six years of age regardless of race, creed, color, sex, and national or ethnic origin are eligible for enrollment in our program.
