Metropolitan Montessori Schools opened its doors on May 23, 1986 in the heart of downtown Houston. Cathedral House Episcopal School was our first location with the Center for Early Childhood Education, at Rice University opening in the fall of 2008. With over 30 years of working with children and families in the Houston area, MMS has become a staple in Houston’s early childhood community. Our commitment to providing early learning experiences that promote optimal child and family development has kept MMS at the forefront of excellence in the early childhood field.
